As a Gaming Product Analyst, you will provide critical analytical support to the Gaming Product and Operations teams by translating complex data into actionable insights. 

In this role, you will act as a product analyst for the broader gaming function, assisting with product performance, category trends, and competitor reviews to support the introduction of new products. You will play a key part in aligning return-to-player (RTP) optimisation and jackpot deployments, ensuring end-to-end analysis of all initiatives. 

As the "engine room" for data-driven decision-making, you will support the Head of Gaming Product, Head of Gaming Operations and Gaming Insights Manager, in delivering the Gaming Product strategy while helping ALH lead the industry in player engagement and responsible gaming outcomes.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Provide detailed category and trend analysis on  game attributes for strategic decision making by Product team members  
  • Identify opportunities and challenges to enhance product performance
  • Align new gaming features, RTP, and Jackpot settings with the overarching gaming strategy
  • Ensure settings are optimised for player engagement and business success
  • Perform Jackpot validation analysis and proposed RTP impacts of game changes at venue level
  • Assist providing insights to be used in the development of robust business cases 
  • Conduct analytical competitor reviews
  • Conduct Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) on past deployments, benchmarking against capex requirements and internal hurdles
  • Extract valuable insights to improve future deployment strategies
  • Ensure that performance metrics are tracked and reported effectively
  • Generate accurate reports tracking key business drivers such as average bet, occupancy, stroke, and venue-specific floor performance
  • Identify performance gaps within venue operations and recommend data-backed interventions to enhance efficiency.
  • Support creation and implementation of overarching gaming procurement strategy enabling overarching Gaming Strategy
     

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field
  • 3 years experience in a product/data analysis role or similar 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Google Sheets/Excel, SQL/BI tools is highly regarded
  • Knowledge of gaming industry regulations and market trends
