About the Role
The Functional Consultant – HomebuilderONE will collaborate with clients to deliver a state of the art HomebuilderONE solution. The individual will excel at delivering high quality service and cutting-edge solutions to sa.global clients in the Homebuilder Industry.
This position focuses on guiding and assisting clients through all phases of project implementations of the HomebuilderONE solution. A HomebuilderONE consultant defines client business requirements, designs and configures the system solution for Homebuilder applications, and assists with system validation, go-live preparation and support.
Main Responsibilities
- Using in-depth knowledge of the HomebuilderONE application, as well as Homebuilder industry best practice expertise, consult with clients to provide cost effective solutions to solve business issues.
- Work collaboratively with project teams and clients to develop, test, and implement HomebuilderONE solutions.
- Identify and apply creative and innovative approaches to resolving product implementation and integration obstacles.
- Analyze current systems and data to identify new requirements, recognizing the need for systems enhancements or modifications if necessary.
- Document the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected.
- Collaborate, manage and lead meetings with other HomebuilderONE functional/technical consultants and client/end-users.
- Facilitate the customer’s decision-making process and develop the functional design document that will drive the development process.
- Responsible for conducting user acceptance testing and train customer resources.
- Liaise with product vendors on any issues relevant for our customers or the company’s services.
- Full cycle management co-ordination of the project and responsible for the successful completion of the project within a stipulated budget.
- Ensure that the technical aspects of projects meet required standards for functionality, operability and documentation.
What You’ll Need
- Proven success as a D365 Functional Consultant, with end-to-end ownership of ERP project delivery.
- Expertise in Job Cost Accounting, especially within project-driven or field-based industries.
- Strong homebuilding background: preferably having worked in the homebuilding industry for 5 or more years understanding the full end to end homebuilding process. Similar or related industries or roles such as estimating, project costing are well regarded.
- Commercial fluency, you understand the business models we serve and can relate confidently to their operating realities.
- Outstanding communication skills that build trust with C-suite executives and collaborate effectively with front-line users.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English to ensure clear communication across diverse stakeholder groups.
- A proactive, sleeves-up approach, progression to Solution Architect will be earned through leadership and delivery excellence.
