  • Provide AASB16 lease calculations to support client approvals and support production and delivery of monthly AASB16 lease schedules
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reports for governance forums.
  • Ensure accuracy of revenue, cost, margin, and accrual reporting for corporate accounts.
  • Develop insights into cost drivers, performance trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support pricing, contract change requests, scenario modelling, and commercial evaluations.
  • Support management of the corporate ledger including P&L preparation, accruals, cash forecasts, and unbilled revenue tracking.
  • Work closely with the account finance team, procurement, and operational teams to deliver financial reporting and insights.
  • Use Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and modelling tools to enhance financial reporting.
  • Develop Power Automate workflows to streamline financial processes and approvals.

Essential:

  • CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience in FP&A, financial management, or commercial analysis.
  • Experience managing property and lease portfolios, including AASB16 lease accounting.
  • Well-developed financial modelling skills (Excel, scenario tools, or Power BI data modelling).
  • Comfortable using digital systems, technologies, and data-driven insights to improve ways of working.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial results for non-finance colleagues.
  • Experience within facilities management, government, infrastructure, or complex service contracts.
  • Warm and effective stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting newly established or mobilising contracts.
  • Exposure to Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or workflow automation tools.
  • Experience supporting financial governance within KPI-driven contract environments.
  • A genuine interest in continuous improvement, innovation, and thoughtful use of technology.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
