Autobarn is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Audio and Electrical Fitter to join our in-store team. The successful candidate will actively get involved with serving customers, creating solutions, driving sales and coaching the team to create a strong flow of work. This role is vital to ensuring our customers leave the store excited for their next journey on the road!

Job Description

What you’ll be doing

The accessory Audio and Electrical Fitter reports to the Store Manager, and tasks include:

  • Installing audio electrics and other vehicle accessories.
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Working with team members to help customers get the best from their vehicle
  • Maintaining fitting service appointments
  • Creating a safe and secure working environment
  • Complying with all safe work practices, policies, procedures & instructions

Qualifications

Who we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior accessory fitting/workshop experience
  • A minimum of a valid Certificate II or Certificate III in Automotive Electrical or Automotive Mechanical trades
  • Strong communication, customer service skills and a people-focused attitude
  • A “can-do” attitude from someone who takes pride in getting the job done well
  • Skill in installations of audio electronics
  • Installation of 4wd accessories is also highly regarded
  • Eagerness to continuously learn, train, and work with the whole team

NOTE: To be considered you must have at least a valid Certificate II or Certificate III in Automotive Electrical or Automotive Mechanical trades.
