Digital Engineering Coordinator

Join us, on the journey.

We are seeking an experienced Digital Engineering Coordinator to join us in Melbourne. In this role, you will support large-scale projects within the Building Services, Defence, Road Infrastructure and Rail sectors across Australia.

You will be part of the Digital Engineering project delivery team at the design level, coordinating the quality and timely delivery of design models, supporting the design review process and collaborating with various stakeholders. This role offers an opportunity to enhance your coordination and technical skills, paving the way for long-term career growth with KBR.

Who Are You?

You are passionate about Digital Engineering or BIM and have a proven background in either engineering, construction or architecture. With strong interpersonal and communication skills, you thrive in team environments and are dedicated to delivering high-quality service.

You will have the following Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and digital information management principles.
  • Experience reviewing Digital Engineering Execution Plans (DEEPs) and implementing Digital Engineering requirements on projects.
  • Experience working with point cloud, survey and other digital project information sources.
  • Experience applying asset information requirements, including asset data structures, classification systems, naming conventions and information validation processes.
  • Understanding of information hierarchies, asset structures and digital information models across design, construction and handover phases.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data quality, consistency, traceability and completeness of digital deliverables.
  • Experience supporting automation, reporting, workflow integration or digital improvement initiatives within engineering, design or construction environments.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies, including scripting, low-code platforms, analytics and AI-assisted workflows, and their application to Digital Engineering delivery.
  • Ability to collaborate with design teams, contractors, survey teams and information management stakeholders to resolve information gaps, assurance issues and compliance requirements.
