What this opportunity involves:

 

JLL is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Lendlease Account team at the prestigious Melbourne Quarter Tower in Docklands. This is a dynamic, broad-ranging management role offering genuine career progression for an ambitious property professional aspiring to grow into a General Manager position.

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be at the forefront of customer service excellence, overseeing financial, leasing, capital expenditure, operational, and tenant engagement activities for this landmark Melbourne property.

 

 

An overview of the role:  

·       Manage day-to-day operations of Melbourne Quarter Tower including leasing, reporting, capex management, rent roll, and debt management

·       Lead proactive customer and tenant communication through multiple channels including digital platforms, tenant portals, forums, and regular meetings

·       Assist with budget preparation, quarterly forecasts, outgoings estimates, asset plans, and financial reporting

·       Support lease administration, legal agreements, licence management, and rent reviews

·       Oversee the Customer Relationship Manager and drive the Customer Events Programme to enhance tenant engagement and retention

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with building owners, preparing quarterly reports and monthly management updates

·       Manage capital expenditure submissions, car park levies, and monthly recharges

·       Develop and implement tailored Customer Retention Plans aligned with lease expiries and market rent reviews

·       Coordinate the Annual Property Survey and deliver on associated action plans

 

 

Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for: 

·       Minimum 5 years' experience in Commercial Property Management

·       Victorian Agents Representative Licence or Australian Real Estate Licence is required

·       Tertiary qualifications in a property-related discipline (highly desirable)

·       Thorough understanding of leases, deal analysis and negotiation, outgoings recovery, and expense management

·       Experience in people management and leading customer-focused teams

·       Strong financial acumen with experience in budgets, forecasting, and asset planning

·       Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

·       Proficient computer skills (MS Word and Excel); MRI software experience preferred

·       Proven ability to prioritise competing demands and meet tight deadlines

·       Exceptional customer service focus with strong corporate presentation
