A Day in the LifeOur Surgical business is growing, and we have an exciting new role for a high performing Commercial Development Manager to join our new Digital Technologies (DT) portfolio across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ region).As the first dedicated DT hire in ANZ, this role will be responsible for developing and executing the DT commercialisation strategy across Laparoscopic & Robotic applications and will oversee sales and customer success activities spanning lead generation through to implementation and utilisation. They will partner with ANZ Core Surgical Innovations (CSI) and Robotic Surgical Technolgoies (RST) sales and marketing teams, as well as global DT colleagues to drive long term growth across the entire Surgical Operating Unit (OU).
The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background in healthcare technology (medical devices, capital equipment or digital health), a solid understanding of the surgical/OR environment, excellent stakeholder and program management skills, an interest in cutting edge technology and AI, and a passion for driving business growth and delivering results.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve sales targets for the DT business, and by virtue the broader Surgical Operating Unit in ANZ
Identify and engage key stakeholders, including surgeons, nurses, hospital executives, and particularly, IT, Privacy & cybersecurity personnel.
Attend conferences and meetings to conduct presentations and demonstrations, articulating the value and benefits of the Touch Surgery Ecosystem.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, customer education, tech service, Enterprise Accounts, IT, and legal, to manage the sales process from prospect to close.
Negotiate contracts and manage agreements to ensure BCS standards are met as well as commercial compliance.
Provide post-sale support and foster long-term relationships to drive product utilization and ensure customer success & satisfaction.
Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends to identify new sales opportunities.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering or Healthcare related field.
Minimum 10 years sales and/or marketing experience in healthcare technology industry (medical device, capital equipment industry or digital health), including:
Strong understanding of hospital operations, purchasing processes & IT infrastructure
Familiarity with digital health, cybersecurity, patient data & privacy regulations.
Experience navigating long sales cycles, securing budget approvals, and working with hospital procurement, finance, and executive teams
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Demonstrated ability manage complex projects, build relationships and engage stakeholders to meet defined outcomes and timelines
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel regularly across Australia and New Zealand (25-50%)
