What You Will Get To Do:
The Business Readiness Lead is responsible for ensuring seamless transitions during business transformations, system migrations, and process changes within the Transfer Agency (TA) domain. This includes driving successful implementation and adoption of business changes. The role involves leading change management strategies, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring operational readiness to support smooth service delivery. The focus is on preparing the business for new processes, systems, and operational shifts, minimising disruption and ensuring effective stakeholder alignment throughout the transition.

Develop and implement comprehensive business readiness plans for TA projects, ensuring smooth transitions during system migrations, process changes, and business transformations.

Ensure all aspects of operational readiness—people, processes, systems, and controls—are effectively managed, identifying and mitigating risks to prevent service disruption.

Maintain detailed readiness plans, timelines, and checklists, ensuring all activities are completed on schedule and to the required standards.

Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, clients, operational units, and external stakeholders, managing stakeholder engagement throughout the process.

Develop and execute communication strategies to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged at all stages, facilitating workshops, training sessions, and feedback loops for alignment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and communicate changes, ensuring all parties understand the business objectives and expected outcomes.

Work closely with the Business Solutions Lead and TA teams to conduct impact assessments, identifying process changes, resource needs, and training requirements.

Drive a culture of proactive change adoption, minimising disruption to clients and day-to-day operations while ensuring smooth transitions.

Ensure that new workflows and procedures are defined and implemented in collaboration with process owners, maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Work with the Head of Line 1 Risk to identify operational and service risks associated with changes, developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

Develop and deliver training materials to ensure team members are fully equipped to handle new processes and systems, offering post-implementation support and coaching as needed.

Monitor business readiness progress, tracking success against predefined KPIs, and adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.

Conduct thorough post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned to refine processes and inform future readiness planning.
What You Will Bring:

In-depth knowledge of Transfer Agency operations, fund services, financial products, and industry regulations and compliance standards.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through change initiatives, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Skilled at assessing complex processes, identifying readiness gaps, and performing risk assessments to resolve issues.
-
Experience in project planning and execution using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Expertise in project management frameworks such as PRINCE2 and PMP.
-
Familiarity with change models like ADKAR and Agile to drive organisational transformation.

Extensive experience in Transfer Agency operations or related financial services.

5+ years of experience in leading business readiness or change management initiatives.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and training development skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
