About this role

Work alongside a team of employment tax experts to develop your specialist tax advisory expertise with particular focus on global mobility arrangements, FBT, payroll tax, superannuation, employee share schemes, remuneration planning and salary sacrifice arrangements across a diverse range of international clients.
Key responsibilities
  • Consult and advise on a wide variety of employment tax advisory work including FBT, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, ESS, PAYG and employee versus contractor matters, including audits and cross border issues
  • Work collaboratively with data and technology experts to help design automated tools for employment tax solutions.
  • Provide international assignment consulting and compliance services across a range of clients and matters
  • Prepare FBT returns using specialist software
  • Undertaking compliance reviews and ‘Health Checks’ for employers’ employment tax obligations
  • Design and implementing share plans for businesses ranging from large corporates to start-up businesses        
Skills & experience
  • Experience in a similar or complimentary role
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work independently
  • Strong research and legal interpretation skills
  • Proactive approach to client relationships and cross selling of services
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Degree qualification, majoring in Accounting, Tax, Commerce, Economics, Finance or Law
