The team provides expertise in Talent Acquisition, Organisational Development and Learning, Reward and Performance, and Employee Relations.

The Role

This role is accountable for the enterprise Learning & Development (L&D) strategy, governance and prioritisation, and end-to-end ownership of IFM’s learning ecosystem. It sets the direction for how learning supports IFM’s broader enterprise strategy, ensuring a scalable, consistent, and high-quality approach across regions. This includes oversight of professional development, mandatory learning, learning standards, governance frameworks, reporting and the overall learner experience. 

The role will consolidate demand across the enterprise, establish clear operating rhythms, and lead a sustainable delivery model that balances vendor-led, leader-enabled and employee-owned learning. 

Working in close partnership with P&C Business Partners, the wider P&C team and the business, the role plays a key leadership position in shaping capability development at IFM, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities and future workforce needs. 

This role also provides people leadership to the learning and development team.

Your Background and Experience

• Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in enterprise learning and capability development, with a strong track record shaping and delivering strategy in complex, corporate or professional services environments
• Proven leadership of enterprise-wide learning portfolios, delivering scalable, high-impact capability outcomes across multiple business units and geographies 
• Depth in leadership and capability development, including experience partnering with Organisational Development or Talent functions 
• Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy and capability priorities into clear, outcome-focused learning solutions 
• Strong expertise in learning architecture, including capability frameworks, needs analysis and integrated, multi-modal delivery approaches 
• Experience embedding learning in the flow of work, leveraging experiential, social and on-the-job development to drive sustained capability uplift 
• Highly effective stakeholder engagement and consulting capability, with the ability to influence senior leaders and shape enterprise-wide decisions 
• Experience working as a people leader in centralised or CoE operating models, with exposure to global or multi-jurisdictional environments preferred
