Job Description

SEEK is seeking an experienced Analytics Manager to lead our Connect Product Analytics team. This role partners with the Connect Product Team to drive data-informed decision making and create exceptional products that help candidates and hirers connect efficiently.

This position reports to the Head of Product Analytics and collaborates closely with Product Managers across the SEEK group.

About the Role

The Analytics Manager serves as a trusted partner to Product Managers, providing analytical solutions throughout the product development lifecycle. We're looking for a self-starter with strong problem-solving leadership who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in analytics with compassionate leadership, mentoring team members while ensuring accountability for deliverables. You'll lead a team of data analysts to help Product Managers understand product performance, measure development impact, and confidently discuss metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary analytics partner for stakeholders in your domain
  • Create structured frameworks for measuring product health (e.g., conversion funnels)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiative ideation and assessment
  • Drive problem resolution as a hands-on leader • Identify and resolve issues, risks, and dependencies
  • Ensure necessary data availability to meet objectives
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and coach team members
  • Foster an inclusive team culture focused on delivery and learning
  • Analyze and implement changes to achieve business goals
  • Break down complex requirements into documented user stories

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science (preferred)
  • 7+ years of analytical experience with 3+ years in leadership roles
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to present data meaningfully
  • Experience translating analytical needs into data requirements
  • Proven ability to work in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments
  • Strong stakeholder management across data science, engineering, and product teams
  • Advanced SQL skills (Python programming advantageous)
  • Strong emotional intelligence and collaborative communication style
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail skills
