As an Account Growth Manager, you'll operate in a hybrid Account Manager and Field Manager capacity, owning the growth strategy for a portfolio of consultative merchants. You'll combine commercial thinking with hands on relationship management, helping merchants maximise performance, increase product adoption and create exceptional customer experiences while identifying new opportunities to grow our partnerships.

What you'll own

  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across merchant organisations, from frontline teams through to senior leaders.
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities that strengthen partnerships and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Negotiate commercial initiatives and partnership opportunities that create value for both Zip and our merchant partners.
  • Deliver face to face training, coaching and ongoing support to ensure merchants are confident, engaged and compliant when offering Zip solutions.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, sharing insights, performance trends and recommendations that help merchants achieve their goals.
  • Analyse merchant performance data to identify opportunities to improve sales, customer experience and product adoption.
  • Execute Best Practice Integration standards, ensuring Zip branding, customer messaging and in store experiences are optimised.
  • Partner closely with Business Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Legal, Sales Operations and Customer Experience teams to deliver great outcomes for merchants.
  • Act as the voice of the merchant by providing feedback that helps shape product improvements, commercial strategy and future opportunities.
  • Manage escalations effectively while maintaining strong governance, compliance and risk management across your portfolio.
  • Represent Zip professionally in the field, strengthening our brand and building lasting merchant relationships.
What you'll bring to the team

Zipsters work on a broad range of initiatives, and our skills and experiences all look a little different. What really matters to us is that you're a great fit with our four Values, and have a desire to learn and grow.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
