If you are an undergraduate Accounting student looking to jump start your career, we are offering a 13-month part time internship based at our Scoresby. This is a unique opportunity to gain skills and knowledge while you are working full time commencing 27th January 2027.
In this role you will make an impact in the following ways:
Working Capital management through understanding the end-to-end process of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Intercompany.
Support month-end close activities, including preparation of journals, accruals, prepayments, reclassifications, foreign currency adjustments, and other accounting entries.
Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, investigate aged or unusual items, and ensure supporting documentation is audit-ready.
Support ABS survey preparation and submissions
Assist with audit and compliance activities and coordinating supporting documentation
Identify needs and opportunities for process improvements
Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to ensure timely completion of reporting, control, and compliance requirements.
About You:
To qualify for this undergraduate internship, it is essential that you:
Are currently studying a Bachelor degree Majoring in Accounting
Have between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete of your undergraduate degree as of January 2027
Are available for the full 13 months and be willing to defer your studies for that duration.
Note: Applicants that do not meet these qualifying requirements unfortunately will not be considered.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will possess skills/abilities or be able to perform:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously
- Inquisitive nature
- Outgoing personality (confidence in communicating with a range of stakeholders)
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
This is a 13-month, full time, paid placement and the successful candidate will be required to defer their studies for the duration of the program.
