What It's Like to Work at Riskified

At Riskified, I can be proactive in my own development and seek out precise resources. For example, I purchased a few books on subjects that I was researching and participated in paid webinars and different conferences to learn about my domain. My managers support me with those initiatives.

The collaborative nature here is the best that I’ve ever experienced. People are really looking to do everything they can to make sure that we’re able to solve problems as quickly as possible for our merchants. My job is made so much easier by having such a quick reaction time internally and so much support from leadership.

Riskified is built on collaboration. Nothing happens without constant engagement, and it makes sense right? We offer products that resonate with our customers and that can only happen if we listen to each other. On any given day, I could be chatting with our sales, AM, legal, finance, product teams—you name it. It’s one of the things I enjoy most!

At Riskified there’s a wealth of resources. Something unique is that Riskified partners with employees as subject matter experts who act as instructors to spread knowledge and teach materials across different departments. They work with our learning and development team to define program content based on priorities of the business.

I’m able to achieve work-life balance because my team trusts me to have autonomy. Each person on the team has the authority to define how to focus their work and the parameters for success. That’s why I’m able to prioritize providing clients with high quality work while also making room to enjoy life in the new city I moved to.
