Voted as "2012 Most Innovative Nonprofit" by Bank of the West, the nonprofit continues to expand and empower hundreds of girls worldwide.

Our Vision
Black Girls CODE vision is to increase the number of women of color in the digital space by empowering girls of color ages 7 to 17 to become innovators in STEM fields, leaders in their communities and builders of their own future through exposure to computer science and technology.

"We want to be the Girl Scouts of Technology - creating a pipeline for women of color tech leaders, innovators and creators. We are disrupting the tech sector and changing the ratio #1GirlAtATime."
