Reporting to the General Manager Business Services, you'll play a key role in ensuring our workplaces are safe, efficient, compliant, and fit for purpose while driving continuous improvement and exceptional service delivery. The role is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of all workplace and facilities services across the Group’s properties. This includes development, implementation and maintenance of workplace services strategies that supports the Group’s strategic and operational objectives.

About the role
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the day-to-day management of workplace and facilities operations across a diverse national portfolio. You'll lead a small team and work closely with internal stakeholders, landlords, contractors, and service providers to ensure our workplaces support operational excellence across the business.
You will be accountable for driving efficiencies, managing risk, controlling costs, and delivering high-quality workplace experiences for our employees and visitors.
- Manage the day-to-day operation and performance of Service Stream's national property portfolio.
- Develop and maintain facilities maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance programs.
- Coordinate workplace maintenance, service requests, and contractor response activities.
- Manage relationships with landlords, contractors, and service providers to ensure high service standards and value for money.
- Oversee workplace health and safety compliance across all facilities.
- Lead and develop a team of Workplace/Facilities Coordinators.
- Manage facilities budgets, operational expenditure, supplier approvals, and property-related financial reporting.
- Plan and deliver property projects including site mobilisations, relocations, fit-outs, and workplace upgrades.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimisation, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory obligations, and sustainability objectives.
About you
- At least 5 years' experience in property, workplace, or facilities management.
- Strong experience managing facilities operations across multiple sites.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to engage, influence, and develop teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management and cost control.
- Experience managing contractors, service providers, and supplier performance.
- Demonstrated experience delivering workplace or property-related projects.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
