The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Workforce Planning Manager to lead workforce planning, forecasting and rostering optimisation across Crown Melbourne. Reporting to the Head of Workforce Management, you will partner with operational leaders, Finance, People & Culture and Payroll to deliver strategic workforce solutions that balance operational demand, labour cost management and business performance. This is a key leadership role focused on driving data-led decision-making, workforce efficiencies and continuous improvement across a complex, fast-paced environment.

This role is a 2 Year Max Term Contract.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Workforce Planning team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Develop and execute workforce planning, forecasting and rostering strategies that align labour resources with operational demand and financial targets.

  • Analyse workforce data, labour trends and business performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  • Drive workforce planning system enhancements, process improvements and governance frameworks to improve efficiency and consistency.

  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, Enterprise Agreements, organisational policies and workforce management standards.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven leadership experience within workforce planning, workforce management or labour optimisation functions in a large, complex organisation.

  • Strong expertise in workforce forecasting, rostering, labour cost management and strategic workforce planning.

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and translate insights into commercial outcomes.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with experience partnering with senior leaders and executives.

  • Proficiency in workforce management systems, Excel, Power BI and workforce analytics tools, combined with a strong understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirements.
