Reporting to the National Workers Compensation Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive administrator to join a collaborative team that plays a critical role in supporting the early intervention and recovery of our employees following a workplace injury.
The Workers Compensation Administration Officer is responsible for supporting the Workers Compensation and Workplace Relations teams with a broad range of administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with multiple stakeholders, and takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support while contributing to positive employee outcomes.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Management of electronic data submissions for Victorian self-insurance.
- Accurate and complete data entry and management in the workers compensation claims system (Solv).
- Provide support to Workers Compensation Manager with continuous improvement projects.
- Manage end to end processing and payment of accounts.
- Ensure compliance with state-based legislation and self-insurance requirements.
- Management and timely processing of weekly compensation.
- Management of workers compensation inbox.
- Coordinate drug and alcohol testing.
- Assist with policy and process management for workers compensation and workplace relations.
- Provide ad hoc support to workers compensation and workplace relation teams.
- 2+ years’ experience in administration
- Demonstrated experience managing confidential information.
- Strong data entry and record management skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
