Your role

At Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.
You'll be a part of our Remuneration and People Operations team working within People Technology (primarily Workday) and based in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney. With a particular focus on reporting, analytics, and remuneration initiatives, you will take on a breadth of responsibilities – we encourage creativity and flexibility, as no two projects will be the same.

Key duties will include:

  • Delivering advanced Workday reporting and people analytics, including dashboards, calculated fields, report optimisation and data storytelling to support decision-making.

  • Building and maintaining Workday Prism Analytics datasets to extend standard reporting and enable deeper insights.

  • Maintaining Workday security (role-based access and domain security), including regular reviews, remediation of access issues and support for audits and compliance requirements.

  • Supporting compensation activities in Workday (e.g., annual review cycles, allowance updates and reward reporting), partnering with Reward/People teams to ensure data quality and timely delivery.

  • Working as part of a team to provide triage and resolution of Workday queries and issues raised on behalf of the business and People & Development stakeholders.

This is a 12-month maximum-term position to cover a period of parental leave. At Allens we have a hybrid working structure, typically 60% in the office and 40% from home. We would be happy to discuss any other flexible working arrangements that best support you.

About you

If you're excited by the opportunity to develop and accelerate Workday initiatives, support a variety of projects and stakeholders, and go beyond BAU tasks, we'd encourage you to apply!

You will have:

  • Experience as a People Systems Analyst or HR Systems Analyst using Workday.

  • Proven experience delivering advanced Workday reporting and people analytics (e.g., dashboards, calculated fields, report optimisation and insights).

  • Workday Prism Analytics experience including building datasets to extend standard reporting (preferred, but not essential).

  • Experience maintaining Workday security (role-based access and domain security), including access troubleshooting and audit/compliance support.

  • An understanding of compensation activities in Workday.

  • A curiosity in how technology can enable, support and enhance people-centred services.

In joining Allens, you will receive unparalleled learning and development opportunities. You will be challenged, supported and guided as you learn and develop, and will be encouraged to grow. We foster greatness and will coach and support you to meet your goals and aspirations.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
