We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Material Handler to join our team on a full-time permanent basis based in Port Melbourne. This position will be based 100% onsite.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the primary function of this role is to perform materials movements within the warehouse environment leading to and including the distribution of components and materials directly to the production line.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Forklift movements including loading and unloading trucks
  • Movement of goods and components
  • Packing and put away activities
  • Stock replenishment
  • Kitting of trolleys, trailers and boxes
  • Delivery of materials, consumables, paints and sealants
  • Supporting cycle counting throughout warehouse and purchased materials
  • Supporting basic inventory transactions through SAP

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
  • Experience within a manufacturing/warehouse environment and knowledge of the process flows within
  • Current Forklift License with experience using counterbalance and high reach forklifts
  • Knowledge of SAP beneficial but not essential
  • Basic computer skills in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Safety conscious and able to adhere to safety requirements
  • Ability to work in a routine and fast paced environment
  • High attention to detail with a 'can do' attitude
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to liaise directly with internal customers
  • Prepared to work in a changing environment and adapt to continuous improvement
  • Full unrestricted working rights in Australia

Additional Information:
This is an Enterprise Agreement position classified as Warehouse Material Handlers (WMH).
The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment checks and a 3 month probationary period.
