Job Description

GYG moves fast, and so does social. This is the hands-on role that keeps the channels alive. You’ll be shooting and editing platform-native content at the speed social demands, while building real craft alongside a senior creative team. If you live on TikTok, understand what makes content stop the scroll, and want to grow your skills at a brand people genuinely love, this is the one.

What You'll Do

  • Shoot and edit social-first video content across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Capture behind-the-scenes, reactive, and trend-led content at speed
  • Capture stills and video footage across restaurants, food, team members, and events
  • Edit short-form content end to end, including sound, captions, and platform delivery specs
  • Support senior shoots as a second shooter and on-set assist
  • Contribute ideas to the social content calendar alongside the Social Media Content Manager
  • Stay across emerging platforms and content formats, flagging opportunities to the team
  • Maintain a working knowledge of platform trends, formats, and creator culture
  • Assist with the organisation and management of video equipment and studio resources
  • Take direction from senior team members and apply feedback constructively to build craft

What You'll Bring

  • 1–3 years in a content creator, junior videographer, or social video role
  • Confident shooting on phone and camera; edit-fluent in CapCut and Premiere
  • Strong instinct for what works on social not just technical ability
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their video requirements
  • Knowledge of video equipment, lighting, and audio gear
  • Flexible and able to adapt to different styles and content needs
  • An eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through video
  • Hungry to learn, fast on the turnaround, comfortable being on camera if needed
  • A genuine passion for the GYG brand
