Role Objective:

We are on the lookout for a driven and experienced leader to step into the role of Vice President, Ticketing & Concert Operations.

This is a pivotal position within our Concerts & Touring team, responsible for overseeing end-to-end touring operations across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the SVP Concerts & Touring, you’ll lead the Promoter Operations, Ticketing, and Tour Accounting teams. You’ll also work cross-functionally with internal departments including Marketing, Production, Commercial, and Logistics to drive operational excellence, revenue growth, and forward planning.

Success in this role requires deep expertise in ticketing, strong commercial acumen, and a sharp eye for process improvement. You’ll bring a steady hand to high-pressure situations, lead large and geographically dispersed teams, and help shape the long-term vision of our touring business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Touring Operations Oversight: Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and wrap of all concert tours across ANZ, ensuring consistency and excellence in delivery.
  • Team Leadership & Alignment: Manage Promoter Operations, Ticketing, and Tour Accounting teams, aligning workflows and deliverables across departments.
  • Strategic Ticketing Initiatives: Develop and implement dynamic pricing, presale coordination, and inventory strategies to maximise revenue.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use fan demand, sales trends, and market analysis to shape release schedules, access programs, and ticketing tactics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Production, Logistics, and Commercial teams to streamline tour delivery.
  • Resource Planning: Anticipate workload peaks and align team resources to meet touring demands efficiently.
  • Industry & Partner Relations: Represent Live Nation with professionalism, building strong relationships with venues, agents, and managers.
  • People Development: Build, coach, and retain a high-performing, geographically dispersed team; lead with transparency, consistency, and regular feedback.
  • Process Improvement: Review and refine tour operations workflows to drive best practice across all facets of concert delivery.
  • Strategic Growth Focus: Collaborate with senior leadership to shape mid-to-long-term goals for the concert and touring business.

What you’ll bring:

  • Ticketing Expertise: In-depth understanding of global ticketing systems and technologies, with a sharp focus on innovation and commercial outcomes.
  • Leadership Capability: Proven experience leading large teams across multiple locations with clarity, empathy, and accountability.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to forecast, problem-solve, and contribute to big-picture business goals.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trusted relationships and influence decisions within a matrix environment.
  • Composure Under Pressure: Cool-headed and solutions-focused in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
  • Adaptability & Initiative: Able to work autonomously, navigate ambiguity, and respond quickly to shifting demands.
  • Industry Reputation: Highly respected within the live entertainment and touring community.
  • Willingness to Travel: Available for after-hours work and regular travel to support touring activity.

The Benefits:

  • A vibrant, music-focused workplace fostering creativity and collaboration.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • Access to concerts, events, and other entertainment perks.
  • A diverse, equitable workplace where every voice matters.
  • Comprehensive benefits, from volunteer days to wellness programs and mental health support.

Equal Opportunities:

We are deeply committed to diversity, inclusion, and supporting our people. In our inclusive workplace, you’re encouraged to bring your whole self to work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. As a growing business, we support your professional and personal development, offering opportunities to learn and grow alongside talented colleagues. What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
