Job Description

The VET Facilitator is responsible for delivering practical training and facilitating supervised clinical skills sessions for students enrolled in Endeavour’s vocational education and training courses, including the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and Diploma of Remedial Massage.

This role supports students in developing safe, professional, and industry-relevant skills through practical demonstrations, clinical supervision, feedback, and facilitation of simulated consultations and/or student clinic environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

Providing Student Support

  • Facilitate practical skills sessions and practice classes for students
  • Demonstrate industry techniques, protocols, and professional practices
  • Supervise and train students during practical and simulated activities, including in the Endeavour Wellness Clinics.
  • Support students to develop safe work practices, communication skills, professional behaviours, and client care techniques
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with organisational policies, workplace health and safety requirements, and relevant VET standards
  • Assess and mark practical and/or theory-based student assessments in accordance with training package and organisational requirements within required timeframes and according to benchmark standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education level of a Diploma of Remedial Massage or a related field (e.g. Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, other comparable manual therapies qualification etc).
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • Current Working with Children Check (or equivalent e.g. AHPRA registration) prior to commencement of employment.
  • 2 years full time (or equivalent) industry experience (voluntary or paid) in a relevant field.
  • Current practicing membership of a relevant professional body for remedial massage practitioners, myotherapists or soft tissue therapist.

Additional Information

  • This is an independent contract, you mush have your own ABN
  • Saturday availability required (8:30-4:00)
  • Working with Children Check (employee or state equivalent) required
  • We are looking for contractors across Bris, Syd, Melb, Per, GC and Adl
