As a Transport Modeller in our Integrated Transport & Mobility team, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
Deliver transport modelling projects or transport modelling inputs into projects;
Work collaboratively with our Australasian transport modelling network to share experience, and ensure consistently high quality in our projects;
Provide transport modelling technical advice to project team members;
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external clients on projects;
Maintain a contemporary understanding of the requirements of our clients ensuring we are responsive as a business and able to build and maintain effective relationships;
Keep up to date with developments in the transport modelling industry developing Aurecon and personal credibility; and
Lead by example within a business that thrives on quality, encourages innovation and is client focussed.
Relevant engineering qualifications and experience in civil / transport engineering /science or a related discipline;
At least 5 years’ experience in transport modelling, with expertise and experience in a range of dynamic network and analytical traffic modelling packages including Aimsun and/or VISSIM;
Demonstrated experience in managing & delivering projects and inputs into projects;
Strong skills with data analysis and interpretation;
Strong communication skills including good report writing ability;
A high attention to detail and be a motivated self-starter; and
Experience working in multi-disciplinary environment.
