With a strong focus on commercial strategy, performance, and innovation, as the Transport Commercial Manager - Last Mile Network, you will be at the heart of last mile transport transformation, where your commercial acumen and insights will fuel change.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, down-to-earth team that backs each other and celebrates wins. Your work will directly shape how we move products, serve customers, and grow sustainably. This isn’t just about managing freight, it’s about leading the charge on smarter transport solutions

  • Lead initiatives that improve transport processes, reduce spend, and boost service performance
  • Build and present business cases that turn ideas into action
  • Develop transport metrics and reporting that inform strategic decisions
  • Partner across supply chain, logistics, finance, and tech to unlock network efficiencies
  • Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the board

You’re a strategic thinker with a sharp eye for numbers and a passion for making things better. You thrive in fast-paced environments, love solving complex problems, and know how to bring people together to get things done. Curious and collaborative, you're not afraid to challenge the status quo if it means finding a smarter way forward.

We’re after someone who sees the big picture but doesn’t miss the details, communicates clearly with all kinds of stakeholders, and brings energy, initiative, and a team-first mindset.

You’ll need

  • Strong demonstrated experience in transport management, commercial operations, or supply chain strategy (ideally 7 + years)
  • CPA, CIMA, or CA Qualification
  • Strong commercial acumen and advanced analytical skills
  • Proven experience in business case development and performance reporting

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
