What You Will Get To Do:


The Senior Business Consultant will provide expert enterprise analysis and business consulting capabilities to identify requirements and define solutions.  They will have an enterprise-wide view and support completion of the ideation and discovery phases for all complex client revenue, strategic business, technology, product, and regulatory change initiatives for the APAC Transfer Agency Business.

  

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead solution discovery and design for complex client, product, technology, regulatory, and business initiatives across the APAC Transfer Agency business.
  • Produce key delivery artefacts, including impact assessments, business requirements, solution designs, estimates, and business cases.
  • Partner with stakeholders, product teams, clients, vendors, and delivery teams to achieve discovery and ideation outcomes.
  • Manage and prioritise the initiative pipeline with program sponsors, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives.
  • Develop and secure approval for business cases supporting strategic and transformation initiatives.
  • Identify and champion innovation opportunities that enhance business performance and client outcomes.
  • Drive the adoption of best-practice business analysis frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
  • Promote continuous improvement through knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and industry awareness.

 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted adviser to senior leaders on strategy, planning, and business analysis.
  • Provide thought leadership through strategic recommendations, risk identification, and solution assessment.
  • Lead initiatives that improve change delivery, governance, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Evaluate solution options and recommend the most effective and feasible approach.
  • Support portfolio planning by defining scope, resources, benefits, risks, and discovery activities.
  • Collaborate with architects and technology teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise capabilities and architecture.
  • Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and industry practices to inform business strategy.
  • Foster consistency and continuous improvement across business analysis and delivery functions.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across divisions and enterprise leadership teams.
  • Contribute to new business opportunities through workshops, presentations, and client engagement.
  • Provide insights and data to support portfolio prioritisation and growth objectives.

What You Will Bring:


  • 10+ years’ experience in financial services delivery across asset servicing, transfer agency, custody, fund accounting, funds management, superannuation, and pension administration.
  • Commercially astute and customer-focused, with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
  • Proven ability to engage, influence, and facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders to drive practical business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of technology-enabled business transformation and enterprise-wide change initiatives.
  • Experienced in delivering gap analyses, feasibility studies, business requirements, risk assessments, cost analysis, business cases, and delivery plans.
  • Solid knowledge of project delivery frameworks, methodologies, and change management practices.
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical solutions and successful delivery outcomes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive business analysis experience.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and delivery-focused, with the ability to lead initiatives in complex and evolving environments.
