Trading Operations Engineer

The role:
As a Trading Operations Engineer, you’ll be the backbone of our trading platforms ensuring system uptime, reliability and seamless trading experiences for our clients. You’ll monitor and support our business-critical IT systems, troubleshoot issues and help drive infrastructure projects that keep us at the forefront of fintech.

As our Trading Operations Engineer, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Provide Tier 2 & 3 escalation and operational support across the business
• Monitor trading systems, proxy servers, liquidity hubs and third-party applications
• Configure MT4, MT5 and cTrader trading servers to meet business and regulatory needs
• Ensure the continuous operation of all trading services
• Troubleshoot system issues, manage upgrades and document processes
• Monitor product pricing and resolve pricing issues efficiently
• Complete daily operational tasks as required by the business and regulators
• Collaborate with IT and external technology providers on trading infrastructure projects

About you: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance or related discipline
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar analyst or operations role
• Excellent communication skills
• Hands-on experience with project management tools
• Knowledge of Python and SQL (advantageous)
• Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and shifts
