Our client is having multiple opportunities for Test Analysts in a long-term contract position.

• Analyse business requirements, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria to determine testing requirements.
  
• Develop Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Scripts and Test Data.
  
• Maintain traceability between requirements, acceptance criteria and test cases.
  
• Execute Functional Testing, System Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing and End-to-End Testing.
  
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
  
• Test integrations between enterprise applications, APIs, middleware and third-party platforms.
  
• Validate inbound/outbound interfaces, API responses, batch processing and end-to-end data flows.
  
• Perform database and data validation using SQL, including source-to-target reconciliation.
  
• Validate data migration, transformation rules, master data and transactional data.
  
• Identify, document and manage defects through their complete lifecycle.
  
• Re-test resolved defects and conduct regression testing to ensure fixes have not impacted existing functionality.
  
• Work closely with developers and vendors to investigate defects and support root-cause analysis.
  
• Participate in defect triage meetings and help determine defect severity, priority and business impact.
  
• Maintain testing evidence and documentation required for project governance and release approval.
  
• Provide regular reporting on test execution, pass/fail rates, outstanding defects, risks and readiness.
  
• Support Go/No-Go assessments by providing clear testing status and outstanding risk information.
  
• Participate in deployment and cutover planning.
  
• Perform post-deployment smoke testing and production validation.
  
• Support the project during go-live, hypercare and transition to BAU.
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing standards, templates and processes.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience demonstrating responsibility for all aspects of the test management process (analysis, design, planning, testing execution, monitoring and reporting).
  
• Demonstrated experience mentoring team members in testing standards, processes and testing best practice.
  
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining the integrity of testing and coordinating the execution of these activities, defining test cases, scenarios and scripts based on business requirements and use cases.
  
• Test scripting and execution – system, integration, and database
  
• Intermediate level (or higher) SQL skills
  
• File input and output testing (large flat-files)
  
• Great communication skills and attention to detail
  
• Comfortable working in an environment with changing priorities
  
• Experience working with a project management/test tool – preferably Azure DevOps or Jira
  

Must have

• 3+ years experience in a Test Analyst role
  
• Intermediate SQL skills
  

Nice to have

• Azure/ADF experience
  
• Supply chain experience
  
• ISTQB Advanced Agile Tester (foundation)
