We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software and hardware solutions. Working closely with the Test Lead and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality systems used in a dynamic and innovative environment.

 

About the Role

 

As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting testing activities across software and hardware systems. You will collaborate with developers, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to identify defects, validate requirements, and support the successful delivery of projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse system designs and business requirements to define test conditions and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
  • Support testing activities and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed testing documentation, evidence, and reports.
  • Participate in test planning, reviews, and status meetings.
  • Provide regular project updates and testing progress reports.
  • Assist with customer-witnessed testing and user acceptance activities.
  • Prepare interim and final test reports for project stakeholders.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience in ServiceNow and MS D365 F&O applications
  • Solid experience creating and executing test plans and test cases
  • Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps
  • Proven ability to identify defects and contribute to quality software releases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Experience engaging with customers and stakeholders during testing activities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality

 

Desirable Experience

Highly regarded experience includes:

  • Transportation, ticketing, payments, or related industries
  • Payment card technology
  • V-Model project delivery environments
  • System integration and hardware testing projects
  • REST API testing
  • Test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, SpecFlow, FitNesse, JMeter, or similar
