The Role

As a Territory Manager, you will take a strategic approach to promote and sell Vocera’s products across VIC/TAS, building strong relationships with key hospital decision-makers. You will work directly with healthcare teams to implement tailored software solutions that improve workflows, enhance communication, and optimize patient care. This role is based in Melbourne, covering all of Victoria and Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business development and new client acquisition: Proactively identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in your designated territory, focusing on hospitals and large aged care organisations.

  • Strategic sales planning: Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to progress deals through the pipeline, ensuring growth and expansion within your accounts.

  • Build strong relationships: Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, from C-suite executives to clinical teams, ensuring the long-term success of the software solution.

  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with customer success and technical teams to ensure successful software implementation and maximize customer satisfaction.

  • Provide excellent service: Ensure clients receive tailored solutions that improve workflow, enhance communication, and optimize operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a consistent track record of achieving targets.

  • Customer-centricity and the commercial acumen to strategically grow your territory.

  • Skilled in analysing data or trends for the purposes of planning, forecasting and identifying sales opportunities.

  • Negotiation, presentation and communication skills to effectively build relationships across numerous functions within a hospital.

Preferred

  • Sales experience in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Software (SAAS) or other related industry.

  • Comprehensive understanding of both the public and private hospital sectors.

  • Experience with highly complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
