About the role:
The Technical Operations Project Manager oversees technical projects to ensure they meet CDC requirements and deliver high-quality results. This role supports project teams through the initiation, planning, and execution phases by tracking progress and reporting outcomes. Serving as the primary contact for customer requests and requirements, the manager collaborates with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve quality, assurance, and financial objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop detailed project plans with defined milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders—including operations, engineering, IT, and vendors—to ensure alignment with site objectives.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise operational disruption.
- Provide technical guidance to operational teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with standards and site requirements.
- Lead issue resolution and troubleshooting throughout project execution.
- Oversee the completion and handover of all plans, as-built documentation, test reports, certificates, and ongoing maintenance materials.
- Manage stakeholder communication by delivering regular updates, facilitating meetings/workshops, and acting as the primary liaison.
- Ensure all project activities adhere to regulatory, safety, and site policy requirements, promoting safe work practices at all times.

About you:
You’re a technically driven project manager experienced in delivering complex electrical, communications, and technology projects. With a strong background in electrical, HVAC, or related building services, you confidently plan, manage, and commission infrastructure involving power, fire systems, and HVAC.
You work seamlessly with operations, engineering teams, contractors, and vendors, bringing clear communication, structured project planning, and a practical, solutions‑focused approach to every project. You ensure documentation, compliance, testing, and handover requirements are met efficiently, enabling smooth operational transitions and reliable long‑term performance.
Essential:
Australian citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain NV1 Security Clearance.
