The Role

We are seeking a Technical Expert to join our dynamic team, where you will be accountable for providing end-to-end support to our Triple Zero Emergency Services and Life-Threatening Call Trace Team. What You’ll Do:
As a Technical Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our Triple Zero and Life-Threatening Call Trace Team deliver exceptional connectivity across Australia. This is a business hours role with potential to assist after hours, Your expertise will directly contribute to Telstra's mission of creating a brilliant, connected future for everyone.
Key responsibilities
· Providing dedicated E2E operational support that includes alarm monitoring, detection, response, and prompt action when Triple Zero issues arise.
· Support the Team through project management, representation in meetings and completing automation tasks.
· Process improvement and implementation.
· Providing a single point of Telstra internal contact for the Triple Zero Answer Points (i.e., call centres), TUSOPA contract team, Regulatory Affairs and Telstra senior management for immediate investigation of Triple Zero incidents.
· Organisational responsibility for the generation, coordination, and internal reporting of Welfare Check Call Lists.
Essential Experience
· Availability to work business hours, with possible after hours support when required.
· A passion for Emergency Services and helping the wider community.
· Proven end to end Automation builds.
· Proven Incident Management experience.
· Proven process/automation documentation.
· Understanding of the Triple Zero Eco system.
· Strong networking experience in a large-scale Service Provider operations centre.
· Excellent working knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing and switching.
