As a Technical Business Analyst, you will work within Ticketing Operations, supporting Operations Technology team to define, document and support the implementation of the new myki ticketing system across Victoria. This is a new, exciting and challenging role requiring someone who thrives on change, is flexible and can easily manage competing priorities.
You will ideally have a systems analyst or consulting background, working with internal Operations teams, both overseas and local delivery teams within Conduent as well as the vendor partners to define and articulate requirements as part of the implementation of the new ABT ticketing solution. Your strong background in endpoint computing, networks, and applications will empower you to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table and help drive meaningful progress.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, dynamic environments, is confident working with technical teams supporting the successful transition from legacy systems and can translate complex technical needs into practical outcomes.
Role Responsibilities:
You will work closely with the operations functional heads and technical teams, you will be the bridge between business needs and technical solutions. You will undertake technical analysis of key business and technology activities and processes, to define and document the as-built state, and identify challenges and collaboratively define solutions to support the roll out of the new program.
- Defining and documenting business needs and goals.
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with technical teams and other key stakeholders including third party vendors to design and implement technology solutions.
- Test and validate the technical solution to ensure they meet the original business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solving issues and risk
- Provide training and support to business users in using the implemented technology solution
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related discipline (MBA desirable but not essential).
- Solid experience in a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or consulting/project delivery role.
- Previous experience working on complex government or highly technical projects is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting technical and business teams through system transitions and operational change.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a flair for structured thinking and innovation.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with stakeholders and extract essential business and system requirements.
- Broad technology experience, including Azure Cloud, Microsoft enterprise tools, and Dynamics 365, ServiceNow and PowerBI.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio, Projects, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience creating technical documentation, detailed reports, briefing notes, and presentations
- Process knowledge, creating processes and workflows
