We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled RAN & Core Performance Engineer to join our telecom network team. The candidate will be responsible for Performance KPI's, assurance, troubleshooting, and optimization of both Radio Access Networks and Core Network (CS/PS/VAS) components. This role requires in-depth technical knowledge of mobile technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G/ NBIoT), Core, network architecture, and protocols, etc.
What you will do:• Network performance management of 2G/3G/4G/5G/ NBIoT RAN.• Perform KPI monitoring, root cause analysis, and performance tuning of radio networks.• Collaborate with RF engineers for coverage and capacity planning.• Troubleshoot site-level and cluster-level RAN issues (call drops, interference, handover failures).• Support in Pre-post analysis for any new site integration, software upgrades, and feature implementation.• Network performance management of Core domain (CS/PS/VAS), EPC/5GC components: MME, SGW, PGW, AMF, SMF, etc.• KPI analysis and troubleshooting.• Troubleshoot signalling and bearer path issues using protocols like GTP, Diameter, SCTP, SIP.• Analyze call flows, CDRs, and trace logs for issue resolution.• Support in Pre-post analysis for any new site integration, software upgrades, and feature implementation.• Work with vendors for core software upgrades and capacity expansion.
The skills you bring:• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Telecommunications/Computer Science or related field.• Strong understanding of RAN and Core (EPC, 5GC, NG-RAN, etc.).• Need 9 to 12 years of experience.• Experience with tools like Wireshark, TEMS, NetAct, ENM, OSS platforms, Kalix, Netcool, NGPM, Service now, SIGOS, EEA.• Knowledge of telecom protocols: LTE/NR, GTP, S1AP, X2AP, Diameter, NAS, NGAP.• Familiarity with network virtualization (NFV), SDN, and cloud-native core (preferred).• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.• Should be able to work in night Shift, On-call support rotation (as per project requirements)
