About this opportunity
The IT System Expert role is positioned within our first line support department, which is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and configuring the current FSM/M5 tooling. Over the next 18 months, this application will be replaced by Microsoft Dynamics 365, incorporating Azure and Power BI functionality. The team will play a critical part in this transformation, ensuring seamless transition and ongoing support for the Hardware Services organization by keeping the tool suite operational and properly configured to meet business needs.
What you will do
• The IT System Expert will be instrumental in overcoming the challenges of introducing AI and automation into our processes, ensuring that fundamental changes are implemented smoothly while leveraging new technologies to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.• An average week would be a good mix of picking up and solving trouble tickets, resolving discrepancies, testing and supporting the deployment of the latest software releases.• Performing system maintenance, reviewing new business demands, and managing the flow of parts-determining which parts need to go where and when.• Coordinating outages and ensuring Level 2 and 3 support teams are involved is key, with regular updates to stakeholders until the issue is resolved and de-escalated.• As system experts, the team is often consulted on solving operational challenges and must work closely with Solution Architects to address new demands and implement changes.
You will bring
• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, or a related field• Solid understanding of IT systems, reverse logistics, and supply chain operations• Experience with Services R&D processes• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken• Basic knowledge of cloud technologies and SaaS platforms• Strong skills in AI and automation, with expertise in IT security and access management• Curious, entrepreneurial, and commercially minded• Ability to apply technology, conduct analysis and research, and drive results• Customer-focused, collaborative, and willing to share knowledge• Insight into business and market dynamics, especially Ericsson's processes• Outgoing personality with excellent communication and soft skills
