Are you the person colleagues turn to when a system issue needs more than a quick restart? Do you enjoy solving problems, supporting customers, and helping users get the most from their ERP and business applications?

We’re looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst to provide responsive, customer-focused technical support across ERP and other business-critical applications. You’ll investigate issues, guide users through product functionality, identify solutions, and help ensure our systems deliver a seamless user experience.

Please note: This is a functional, customer-facing application support role focused on product functionality, business processes, and user assistance. It is not a highly technical infrastructure, network administration, or software development position.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support customers and internal users through service tickets, phone, email, or chat, diagnosing application and system issues.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, test, and fully document solutions, escalating complex issues when needed.
  • Provide guidance on product functionality, recommended workflows, and effective use of supported applications.
  • Respond to issues that fall outside standard procedures using strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Stay current on software updates, product changes, and system enhancements to provide accurate and timely support.
  • Provide diagnostic assistance to help isolate the cause of application, software, and system problems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer-impacting issues and improve the overall support experience.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance knowledge base articles, FAQs, and other support documentation.
  • Share knowledge and mentor other team members.

What You Bring:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant application support experience, with a record of successfully resolving functional and user-related issues.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems or other complex business applications strongly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of financial management and accounting processes, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and related finance operations.
  • Knowledge of application fundamentals, workflows and business processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A customer-first mindset and the ability to remain calm and effective in a high-volume support environment.
  • Experience with SaaS or cloud-based applications is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of issues from investigation through resolution.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to make a visible impact. You’ll work at the intersection of technology, business operations, and customer success—helping users get more value from the systems they depend on every day.

If you’re energized by solving challenging problems, improving processes, and supporting ERP environments, we’d love to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
