The Talent Acquisition Partner will manage the entire recruitment process, actively headhunting talent and ensuring an excellent candidate experience while partnering with leadership on hiring priorities.
Talent Acquisition Partner
The Role
At Lyrebird, we’re building the best health-tech company in Australia.
Hiring is at the heart of that mission.
We’re looking for a hands-on, in-the-trenches Talent Acquisition Partner - part recruiter, part talent scout - to help us raise the bar on speed, quality, and candidate experience. This is not a coordinator role; this is full-cycle recruitment where your work will directly shape the future of our business.
About us
Lyrebird Health is transforming the quality and accessibility of healthcare by automating clinicians' most time consuming tasks. Thousands of clinicians use Lyrebird across many disciplines — and this number is increasing every day.
These clinicians trust us to deliver a fast, reliable, and secure experience, and we value this more than anything. We want to earn trust while continuing to amaze our users.
What you'll do
- Act as a talent scout: proactively headhunt, build pipelines, and hunt down niche, highly skilled people who deliver with urgency.
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, headhunting, applications, offers.
- Manage and optimise our ATS, ensuring candidates move through the funnel quickly and smoothly.
- Partner closely with leadership on hiring priorities, budgets, and workforce planning.
- Deliver best-in-class candidate experience — every candidate, whether hired or not, leaves with respect, honesty, and transparency.
- Produce clear reporting and insights to keep leadership aligned and accountable.
What we're looking for
- 3–5 years’ experience in full-cycle recruitment (agency, in-house, or both).
- Proven success in headhunting and sourcing hard-to-find talent.
- High urgency: you move fast, act decisively, and make sure no candidate waits more than 12 hours for a response.
- High standards: you care deeply about quality, detail, and process excellence.
- Comfort working in a high-growth, high-ownership environment where every hire matters.
- Someone who thrives on momentum and wants to shape a company’s growth story from the inside.
- Previous experience inside a hyper growth startup would be preferred.
This role is ultra-rewarding: the talent you bring in will form the very core of Lyrebird’s future. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with leadership, directly influencing the speed and success of our growth.
If you want to do serious, high-impact recruitment — where you’re both a partner to leadership and a relentless talent scout in the market — this is it.
At Lyrebird, we don’t just write code — you’ll help shape the future of the human experience.
If you want to pioneer, to create, and to see your work touch lives directly, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re building a team that reflects the diversity of the people who’ll benefit from our work. We want Lyrebird to be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and able to thrive. If you’re from an underrepresented background in tech, we especially encourage you to apply — even if you don’t meet every single requirement.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene
Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
