For an initial 6-month FTC, we're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner. 

Job Description

About the role:

  • You'll be our recruitment specialist for the Asia-Pacific region, working independently to fill critical roles across Global Operations, Sales, Technology, Product and senior leadership positions and own the entire process.
  • Since this is a standalone role, you'll build a reputation as the go-to talent advisor for APAC hiring managers.
  • You’ll consistently deliver quality hires while keeping both candidates and hiring managers happy throughout the process.
  • You'll build robust, diverse talent pipelines and become known for finding candidates that others miss.
  • Beyond day-to-day recruiting, you'll provide strategic input on talent planning and build talent communities for future hiring needs.
  • Your deep understanding of regional salary benchmarks, talent availability, and what competitors are doing will directly inform both business and hiring decisions.
  • You'll help us drive TA projects forward and further improve how we attract and engage talent, both internally and externally.

Qualifications

About you:

  • We're looking for someone with broad recruiting experience in SaaS and technology businesses and someone who understands regional recruiting challenges in ANZ.
  • You have strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence stakeholders remotely, even the tricky ones. 
  • Experience recruiting for operations, sales, or senior leadership roles is valuable, along with an understanding of different hiring approaches for various seniority levels.
  • You understand that talent doesn’t just wait on SEEK, and you are fluent in direct sourcing, Boolean/X-ray search and writing compelling outreach.
  • When you think recruitment, you think experience, because you understand that applicants can also be our (future) customers. 
  • You should be comfortable working across different countries and time zones, as some of your stakeholders will be based in the UK and the US, including your manager.
  • Experience with modern recruitment technology and AI is important, but we're more interested in your ability to learn and adapt. You should be excited about AI's potential in recruitment rather than threatened by it. Curiosity about new tools and approaches will serve you better than extensive technical knowledge.
  • You can spot trends in recruitment metrics and share valuable insights with hiring managers and senior leaders in a way that makes them listen. 
  • Most importantly, you should be self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently while staying connected to a global team. This role requires someone who can manage their own priorities while maintaining high standards and consistent communication.

Work Arrangements and Team Structure:

Our APAC office hub is based in Melbourne on Bourke Street. So, if you're a social creature and enjoy being around the teams you hire for, we'll have a desk for you. However, we're open to remote work arrangements, given you have full work rights in Australia. 

You'll be part of a global TA team with team members in AU, NZ, India, the UK and the US.
