Job Description

The successful candidate will support the Supply department, Wards, and Theatres by ensuring adequate stock is available as and when required. You will be responsible for ordering, receiving, and storing stock in relevant locations and maintaining stock levels in accordance with hospital purchasing and inventory control policies. Additionally, you will provide usage reports to ensure stock controls align with organizational objectives.

About You:

You are a highly organized and process-focused individual with previous experience in a supply role. Crucial to this position is a high level of accuracy, strong time-management skills, a collaborative mindset, and intermediate computer literacy.

You will also bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a supply position (medical stock experience is highly regarded)
  • Good interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday with weekend stocktakes that happen twice a year.
  • Experience with stock-control computer systems (SAP experience is highly regarded)
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Physical capability to perform warehouse and storage duties
