You will take a proactive, balanced approach to contract management — focused on collaborative supplier relationships while achieving mutually beneficial commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Lead the development, negotiation, and management of Motion supply agreements to secure favourable commercial terms
  • Review, interpret, and administer contractual terms to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Partner closely with Category Managers to integrate supply agreement strategies within category plans and procurement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with Product Managers to enhance category performance and profitability
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and supplier risks
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to inform negotiation strategies and identify opportunities
  • Maintain transparent communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across contract management and supplier engagement processes

About You

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in procurement, contract management, or supply agreement roles, ideally within a complex or multi-category environment
  • Strong knowledge of commercial contract terms & conditions, supply chain dynamics, and risk management principles
  • Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and build consensus
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex contract language and assess business impact
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset focused on achieving business objectives
  • Experience with procurement systems and contract management software (advantageous)
  • Willingness to undertake interstate/Trans-Tasman travel as required
