Our Vacation Program

As a Vacation Student in the Audit team, you will get a head start on your career by obtaining a valuable practical experience during your university break.

In our Audit division, we specialise in:

  • Financial statement audits: Uncover hidden insights and ensure accuracy;
  • Regulatory and compliance audits: Ensure organisations operate within legal boundaries;
  • Acquittal statement and special purpose audits: Promote transparency and accountability;
  • Financial reporting: Empower stakeholders with clear and concise information;
  • Regulatory, technical & IFRS advice: Guide clients through evolving financial standards.

When does it start?

Depending on the division you apply for, the vacation program will start in late 2026 or early 2027.

About you:

The Audit team at RSM are interested in motivated and enthusiastic Vacation Students who possess the following skillsets and experiences:

  • Penultimate year students completing a bachelor’s degree in Business / Commerce with an accounting (preferred) or finance major;
  • Have strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Work effectively in a team;
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
