About the Role

As Strategy and Value Manager, you will play a central role in shaping, aligning and measuring the execution of BDO's enterprise strategy, with a strong focus on AI strategy and transformation outcomes.

Working closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and as part of the Strategy and Transformation team, you will partner with stakeholders across Service Lines and Enterprise Services to ensure strategic priorities translate into measurable value. This role will drive enterprise KPI frameworks, benefits realisation, portfolio performance reporting and strategic insights that support investment decisions and business growth 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of BDO's enterprise strategy, including key transformation and AI initiatives.

  • Translate strategic priorities into measurable outcomes through KPI frameworks, enterprise scorecards and performance reporting.

  • Develop strategic communications that turn data, trends and insights into clear and compelling business recommendations.

  • Facilitate strategic planning, prioritisation and alignment workshops to support decision-making, stakeholder engagement and the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

  • Define and track benefits realisation, business cases and value delivery across strategic investments.

  • Partner with Finance and senior stakeholders to align strategy, investment decisions and business performance.

  • Monitor strategic and AI portfolios, identifying risks, opportunities and performance insights.

  • Develop reporting frameworks, dashboards and executive reporting for senior leadership, including the Executive Leadership Team and Board.

  • Facilitate collaboration across Service Lines and Enterprise Services to support the successful execution of strategic priorities.

  • Promote best-practice approaches to strategy execution, accountability, performance measurement and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related field. 

  • Proven experience in strategy, transformation, consulting or performance management roles. 

  • Strong experience in KPI design, business case development and benefits realisation. 

  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across complex environments. 

  • Strong facilitation, communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and leading strategic discussions.

  • Experience in AI, digital transformation or innovation environments is highly desirable. 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and commercial acumen.
