The opportunity

The Strategic Workforce Planning Analyst plays a key role in enabling evidence‑based workforce decisions across the enterprise. Partnering closely with the Strategic Workforce Planning Manager, you’ll use people and financial data to deliver insights, dashboards and analysis that support workforce strategy, scenario modelling and organisation wide transformation.
This role is offered on a fixed‑term contract until May 2027.

Your new role

In this role, you will help shape how the organisation plans, designs and evolves its workforce during a period of strategic transformation. You’ll transform complex data into meaningful insights, support strategic workforce planning initiatives, and enable leaders to make informed decisions about future workforce composition.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing complex people, workforce and financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.

  • Translating data into clear, decision ready insights that inform workforce strategy, planning and transformation initiatives.

  • Designing, building and maintaining workforce planning dashboards that integrate people and finance data.

  • Supporting deep‑dive analyses across areas such as capacity, skills, role mix and future workforce needs.

  • Contributing to workforce scenario modelling linked to strategic initiatives and future workforce needs.

  • Partnering with stakeholders to continuously improve data quality, reporting usability and the organisation’s strategic workforce planning maturity.

About You

You’re an analytically strong professional with a genuine interest in strategic workforce planning and how data can shape workforce decisions. You bring strong technical capability, attention to detail and curiosity, and you’re motivated by learning, innovation and working in evolving environments.

Key requirement:

  • Strong Power BI capability, with experience building clear, decision‑ready dashboards and visualisations.

  • Experience in strategic workforce planning (SWP), workforce analytics or related people analytics roles.

  • Strong analytical skills, with confidence working with complex people and workforce datasets.

  • Solid knowledge of people data, with Workday experience (or similar HCM platforms) highly regarded.

  • Exposure to AI, automation or emerging technologies, combined with curiosity and a willingness to learn.

  • High attention to detail, strong ownership and the flexibility to support work outside standard business hours when required.
