About the role: Join Mar’s Pet Nutrition business in this crucial leadership role.  The Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) Director leads the local SRM team, establishing a centre of excellence across Pricing, Trade Investment, and Mix capabilities. In this leadership role, you will act as a key commercial co-pilot to Sales and Marketing, shaping and executing the local ‘One Demand’ portfolio strategy. Ultimately, you will drive annual revenue commitments and marketplace competitiveness while developing a high performing, expert team.

What you’ll do

  • Drive Core SRM Growth Pillars: Lead strategies across Pricing, Trade Promotion Effectiveness, Mix for Growth, and Trade Terms to deliver annual Operating Plan commitments.
  • Optimize Trade & Promotional ROI: Direct the retailer promotional calendar, enforcing guardrails (depth, frequency, timing) to maximize trade investment productivity and ROI.
  • Deliver Financial Targets: Manage in-year financial sufficiency across key metrics, including via disciplined price and promo optimization.
  • Chair Pricing Governance: Lead the monthly Pricing Council to align strategies, resolve marketplace issues, and provide recommendations to the S&OP Management Business Review.
  • Cross-Functional Commercial Co-Pilot: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Category Development to craft compelling Retailer Value Propositions and tailored customer strategies.
  • Embed Advanced Analytics & Capabilities: Implement global/market SRM tools, manage performance dashboards, and scale advanced analytics capabilities across the 'One Demand' team.
  • People Leadership & Talent Development: Recruit, retain, and inspire a high performing SRM team, building deep functional expertise and a sustainable talent pipeline.

What will you bring?

  •  Extensive experience managing commercial P&L outcomes, with a strong focus on pricing.
  • SRM Domain Expertise gained in a an FMCG or CPG business that sells via Grocery channel.
  • Proven functional and technical expertise across core revenue management disciplines (pricing, trade terms, and mix management).
  • People Leadership: Demonstrated track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing, cross-functional teams.
  • Commercial Analytics & Strategy: Strong ability to synthesize internal and external data into actionable commercial insights, with advanced analytics / statistical modelling knowledge preferred.
  • Cross-Functional Influence & Execution: Proven ability to simplify complex concepts, align diverse stakeholders behind a shared vision, and successfully translate strategy into pragmatic execution.
  • Stakeholder Management & Solution Design: Demonstrated capability to design pragmatic, multi-stakeholder commercial solutions that balance strategic business objectives with customer and market dynamics.
