Role expectations

• Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms. 
• Analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, network hardware/software and database 
• Provides direction for the effort required to protect the company’s data, tools and information systems. 
• Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility.  
• Ensures IT service is uninterrupted. 
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. 
• Work with company-hosted, web-enabled, or outsourced solutions delivery.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated professionalism including exceptional skills at leading, planning, organizing, and controlling. Ability to attract and retain top quality talent. Ability to work seamlessly between strategic and tactical levels of operation.
• Must have extensive background or exposure to business processes and technology best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to analyze and solve problems; ability to prioritize and organize. Demonstrated skill in communicating with both business and technical partners.
• A strong working knowledge involving a wide range of Windows server-based technologies along with a solid grasp of the trends and direction of emerging technologies. 
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute an infrastructure plan including risk management, resource management, budget management, and accountability.

• BS Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information System or equivalent. 

• At least 5 year experience working with IT systems support

• Organizes and supervises the work of employees, issues orders and accepts completed tasks that must ensure that the work complies with the internal regulations of the employer and the Align group of companies.
• Is responsible for monitoring the daily operations of employees or unit. 
• Plans, prioritizes and directs work of subordinates based on general policies, standards and management guidance.  
• Responsibilities include organizing work of the team, assigning tasks and monitoring them, and evaluating the quality of each employee's work.
• Corrects the work of the staff, assigns employees to perform certain tasks in the event of unplanned or non-standard situations, in case of failures or errors. Promptly reports any problems to higher management and offers a plan to solve the problems.
• Defines the priorities and order of work tasks.
• Ensures the relationship of the subordinate team with other divisions. 
• Prepares reports on the quality and scope of work performed by subordinate employees, as well as on the implementation of the work plan. 
• Hires and develops and evaluates staff, manages them, assigns tasks, accepts and evaluates work of employees.
