Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions (UI, backend, DB, APIs, DevOps) using React, Java, SQL and microservices. Lead architecture, solution design, code reviews, SRE runbooks, and deployment oversight. Mentor and coach cross-functional teams, participate in Agile/SAFe planning, and optimize large-scale distributed systems (search indexing, graph DBs, big-data frameworks).
Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Hands on development with UI, Backend, Database, APIs, DevOps. Specifically React, Java, SQL, Micro services, Azure DevOps. Similar related technologies will be an asset.
Develop architecture and solution designs.
Mentor, motivate, influence, drive innovation, and coach broader technical team. Provide technical and solution guidance to the team. Conduct design and code reviews for the team delivery.
Develop iterative implementation plans and strategies. Estimate user stories, as part of release plan and participate in iteration plan exercises
Key participant in user story breakdowns, user story elaboration, and user story reviews
Serve as an escalation point for deployments, and change oversight, enabling highly visible business priorities.
Responsible for developing and maintaining SRE runbooks.
Expected behaviors:
A self-starter capable of acting independently and proactively requiring minimal management oversight.
Ability to work across cultures and geographies to encourage team to adopt best practices Experience working in cross-functional, multi-location teams.
Experience in SAFe, Agile methodology, tools, and Agile integration with Waterfall.
Experience with distributed database technologies, particularly Apache Solr, HBase, JanusGraph, and Hadoop.
Understanding of search indexing, graph databases, and big data processing frameworks.
Hands-on expertise in optimizing query performance, data modeling, and scalability within large-scale distributed systems.
