ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our Apex Radiology team in Bunbury on a full-time or part-time basis, working Monday to Friday.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established imaging network with modern equipment, experienced Radiologists and a collaborative Sonography team committed to delivering high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care.

THE ROLE

As part of our Sonography team, you will:

  • Perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations including General, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Musculoskeletal, Small Parts and Vascular imaging
  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging while providing compassionate and professional patient care
  • Assist Radiologists with ultrasound-guided interventional procedures
  • Work collaboratively with Sonographers, Radiographers, Radiologists, administration teams and referrers
  • Maintain a strong focus on clinical quality, patient safety and best-practice imaging
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive and collaborative team environment

Sonographers with an interest in supporting and mentoring trainee Sonographers are highly encouraged to apply. The opportunity to contribute to clinical education, training and the development of our future Sonographers is highly valued within our team.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful, you will have:

  • A Graduate Diploma or Master of Medical Sonography accredited by ASAR
  • Current ASAR accreditation, or eligibility to obtain
  • Strong clinical, practical and interpretive ultrasound skills
  • Experience across General Ultrasound, with skills in MSK, Vascular, Obstetrics and Gynaecology highly regarded
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach
  • The ability to work confidently both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Australian working rights or eligibility for employer-sponsored visa support
