Focus of the role

As the Solutions Team Lead you will lead a team of experts that support our network of business technology centres with customer engagement, escalations and support on Microsoft solutions and Managed services. Your team will be made up of four Solution Experts and two Microsoft SME’s who will be supporting our Technology Business Centres nationally to identify new sales opportunities and deliver great customer outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Telstra Business Technology Centres (TBTCs) provides IT and business support to Telstra's business customers.

As the Solutions Lead, you will:

  • Support our business experts to engage with customers when there is a complex requirement or escalation
  • Lead and develop a team of Senior solution experts and Microsoft SME’s to engage and support TBTC’s nationally
  • Work with Microsoft & Telstra Enterprise lead to execute on programs of work and projects
  • Align with and influence stakeholders across Telstra channels to support TBTC priorities and leverage their support to execute on our ambitions
  • Build an operating rhythm with key stakeholders, leadership teams and decision makers in Telstra to ensure focus on key solution remains in order to meet our ambitions and KPIs

About You

You are a proven people leader who knows how to get the best out of teams, you can think strategically and creatively and have excellent interpersonal skills which enable you to influence and inspire. You bring:

  • Proven understanding of the sales cycles and processes that Business Customers would experience from a technology company
  • Business to Business experience and a true understanding of the priorities of small to medium business owners.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities.
  • Proven leadership experience leading experienced teams
  • Experience working with external vendors and partners and the ability to leverage their support when needed
  • A passion for technology and innovation
