Join Pepperstone as a Solution Architect and play a key role in shaping our growing architecture capability. You’ll turn complex business challenges into pragmatic, value-driven solutions while influencing the technical direction of our platforms.

In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of business and technology, leading discovery workshops, driving architecture decisions, and collaborating with talented teams across engineering and product. You’ll have the opportunity to mentor others, contribute to enterprise-wide architecture practices, and help scale our impact as we grow.

As part of the Enterprise Architecture team, you’ll also help evolve our future-state architecture and play a role in advancing our AI capabilities, applying modern technologies to deliver real business value.

As our Solution Architect, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: 

• Design and deliver solutions aligned with business strategy and architectural standards
• Lead architecture discovery and conduct impact assessments for new initiatives
• Drive architecture decisions across both solution and enterprise levels
• Develop and maintain architecture principles, patterns, and guardrails
• Contribute to current and target state architectures and roadmap planning
• Partner with engineering teams to support implementation and delivery
• Collaborate with Product Managers and business stakeholders to align on goals and requirements
• Work closely with other architects to ensure consistency and alignment across domains

About you 

• 8+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in architecture, ideally within banking or fintech. Experience in CFD and/or crypto is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of designing impactful solutions in fast-paced environments and are confident driving complex architecture decisions through to alignment.
• Technical Expertise
• Cloud-native application and infrastructure design
• Architecture modelling and capability mapping (including C4)
• Domain-Driven Design and UML (sequence and class diagrams)
• Integration architecture, including event-driven and API-based systems
• Security and compliance by design
• Exposure to Generative AI
