As Solution Architect (Product Platforms), you’ll help shape these foundations. Working at the intersection of product, platform and engineering, you’ll translate architectural strategy into practical designs that simplify systems, unlock innovation and strengthen SEEK’s product ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and guiding architecture for foundational product platform capabilities
- Translating SEEK’s architecture vision into practical, implementable solutions
- Driving adoption of shared capabilities across product domains
- Partnering with engineering and product teams to simplify systems and accelerate delivery
- Defining patterns, guardrails and standards across key platform capabilities
- Supporting large-scale web and mobile platform architecture, APIs and operational data services
- Identifying opportunities to consolidate duplicated capabilities and improve interoperability
- Ensuring performance, resilience and scalability across high-volume services
Your work will enable SEEK teams to build faster while maintaining strong architectural discipline.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the centre of SEEK’s platform evolution. You’ll influence how foundational capabilities are designed, adopted and scaled across our product ecosystem. Your work will shape the platforms that enable teams to deliver reliable, secure and innovative products for millions of users.
You’ll collaborate with some of SEEK’s most experienced engineers and architects, contributing to a shared architecture vision while solving complex, high-impact problems.
QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical depth with the ability to influence and guide engineering teams. You may bring:
- Deep experience designing large-scale web and mobile application architectures
- Expertise defining solution architecture for shared or foundational product capabilities
- Strong knowledge of platform domains such as identity, notifications, APIs, data pipelines or feature management
- Experience working in high-scale distributed systems and microservices environments
- Ability to translate architectural strategy into clear, actionable solution designs
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence senior engineers and product leaders
- Curiosity and adaptability when working with emerging technologies, including AI-enabled platforms
- Experience working in large, federated engineering environments will be particularly valuable.
